Photograph taken at "Everyman's House" located at 2026 S. Westnedge, Kalamazoo, MI, winner of the Better Homes in America 1924 Model Home contest, designed by Caroline Bartlett Crane. Interior of Mother's room with baby in small, fold-out crib placed over double-sized bed. Includes chair, bureau with mirror, windows with curtains, and small, wooden, two-paneled screen. Includes handwritten signature of photographer, Young, and note on back of photo, "Return to Caroline Bartlett Crane, 1425 Hillcrest Ave., Kalamazoo, Mich., View of Mother's room from kitchen door". Photograph is mounted on decorative gray board, extending approximately 1 3/4 from edge of photograph. (Photographic print)
