8th Lizzie came for me to ride over to Rolls with her. This evening Father took Eva & I down to an exhibition at our Academy but it was not much like old times. A different clan on the stage from that which was wont to meet there. 9th At home and busy. Eva and Mother have been to the village. 10th Willie went down to Church. Very warm. 11th Very, very warm. 12th Frank came here to night. We went up to Mr. (?) a few moments. Awful warm.
