8th Sophy Frank and Emily went home after church. I have been writing my essay for to morrow night. 9th To day recited, called on Lucy with Mary Ann and our Mary (?) to talk about a (?) (?) sleigh ride and surprise party. We have invited Emily Mary Ann Albert Amanda George Mitchell Lockwood and Baldwin and think we shall go to morrow night. Our Lyceum went off well. Calvin helped about the singing and Lockwood. Charley […] address was good. Mr. Basset did very well. (?) (?) Patrick and Jane Wickham failed. It went off well.
