26 Sunday did not go to church for my throat was bad. Reading and studying. Lucy & Mary came in this evening. 27 Recited. Studying. Went to Lyceum with Mollie. 28th It is raining. I have sewed a little to day but am making it up to night for I must study. Have written to James this evening and read a portion of the first page of (?) second book besides entertaining Amanda all that first part of the evening. And yet must write something for that budget box. Timothy came in a moment to night. He is going away next week. I am so glad.
