8x10 black and white Packard Co. file photograph of a 1938 Packard seven-eights left side view. Inscribed on photo back: Packard eight, sixteenth series, model 1601, 8-cylinder, 120-horsepower, 127-inch wheelbase, 2/4-person club coupe (body type #1195), experimental car modified for Edward Macauley, note alternating chromium plated & painted radiator shutters (adopted on 1939 Senior lines), positioning of fender well & side mount (adopted on 1939 models), experiments with two-toned paint (including different colors on wheels, light area around door handle is lamp reflection), Packard approved accessories; road lamps, fender wells, 6-wheels, wheel trim beauty rings, deluxe steering wheel, radio aerial beneath running board, trunk rack, back-up light.
