The following is taken from a transcription of Martha Baldwin’s diary (1858-1859). Illegible sections of the original text are noted as follows: ______. A parenthetical question mark (?) follows words in the original text that were not completely legible but were still transcribed. there so much, but came in contact with them and Father said he would drive down soon so had to go. Wilson is full of fun as ever. July 10. Oh how pleasant it must be to have brothers and sisters to love. Em had a brother come today and she has seemed so happy, I almost envied her.
