July 26. Monday and I have worked all day. Gus came down to night and Verona came up.
July 27. Verona and I went to walk in the woods this morning. Had a pleasant time. Went to Gus this afternoon. Stopped at Mr. Gilletts _____ which he played for us.
I am very tired but must try and read some.
July 28. Well Gus and Verona came down here to night or this afternoon I mean and we were going to the literary at Mr. Benedicts, but Gusâ€™s folks sent for
