I did not feel well and did not go to church but have been writing a piece for the _________, the papers of the literary at Bloomfield Center, a letter to Em Tripp, making in all about ten papers. Now I must write another and ought to write a piece for this weeks Jacksonian. Mother has been reading Lucy(?) Howard.
