B/W negative of the I-94 Marathon Service Station located at 3016 Sprinkle Road. This was also known as the Half Way House due to its location approximately half way between Detroit, Michigan and Chicago, Illinois on the Interstate 94 Corridor. The proprietor at the time this image was taken, October of 1968, was Walker Menne. As of 2004 this structure no longer exists.
