Went in search of scholars this morning and found enough to make it safe as I thought to look for a room. Have not found one to suit me.
October 2. Found a room and rented it but the rent is high. Put an advertisement in an Owosso paper and am to commence a week from next Tuesday.
Did not enjoy a boarding place. I know I am running a great risk but am willing to try. I left on the cars at noon and arrived at B at four tired out.
