Description
View of altar area of St. Paul Lutheran Church, located on corner of Canal Road and Hayes Road. The building was erected in 1901. The wooden altar was carved by a parishoner, the painting on the altar was installed in 1941, covering a previous one. The glass rosette window depicts the scriptures being impaled by a sword, which is the symbol of St. Paul. Two decorated Christmas trees flank the altar. Candleabras and poinsettias are placed around.
