B/W negative showing the front facade of the Super Bargain Center (former Sears and Roebuck) located at 161 East Michigan Avenue in downtown Kalamazoo, Michigan. The building stands on the north side of the street with the camera facing almost due north. East Michigan Avenue can be seen running from left to right in the foreground of this June 27th, 1961 image. Visible to the right is the Industrial State Bank located at 151 East Michigan Avenue. As of 2004 this building has undergone a major restoration and now houses new tenants.
