Description
B/W negative of the Super Bargian Center (former Sears and Roebuck) located at 161 East Michigan Avenue in downtown Kalamazoo, Michigan. The camera is looking northwest with East Michigan Avenue running in the foreground. The entire front facade of the A.C.M.E Quality Paint Store at 203 East Michigan Avenue, can be seen on the right. This image was taken on June 27th, 1961 and as of 2004 both of these buildings remain standing, however their tenants have since changed.
