Color negative of the Southgate Motel and Inn located at 5630 South Westndege Avenue in Portage, Michigan. The camera is looking northwest up Westnedge Avenue showing the neon Southgate Inn sign in the foreground and the neon Southgate Motel sign in the background. As of 2004, both of these structures have been demolished and the sight left vacant awaiting further development.
