Description
This page is incorrectly labeled as number 146 - the correct page number is 145. The following is taken from a transcription of Martha Baldwin’s diary (1858-1859). Illegible sections of the original text are noted as follows: ______. A parenthetical question mark (?) follows words in the original text that were not completely legible but were still transcribed. January 12, 13, 14. Have not been able to find out anything about that question. So I went up and made an apology for not being prepared and the result is that I was put on again. January 15. Shoemaking all day. This evening went up to call on a Mrs. _________ and to hear her daughter play. The first place I have been about since I have been here. January 16. At church this morning and a sabbath school this afternoon. January 17. Monday just the same as ever.
