Description
Shortly after his marriage to Ida Belle Smith in 1907, John Green, Jr. opened a grocery store and saloon on Jefferson Avenue. Today it is the site of the Blue Goose Inn, a restaurant/bar. John ran the saloon and his wife took care of the store. When Prohibition was voted in, they sold the business. Standing on the porch is John Gree Jr. holding Evalyn and Ida stands with Ray. The other man on the porch is not identified.
