Photograph of the Chapin Mine's Cornish pumping engine in Iron Mountain, that began operation January 3, 1893. The pump had had a capacity 191,400 gallons per hour, or 4,593,600 gallons in 24 hours. ""Pump Chapin Mine"" is printed on the photograph.
