Players included Paddy Jasske, Bennie Belabradich, Jackie Mugford, Buck Garrow, Nor Rapson, Geo. Stephanvich, Art Wetelainen, Carl Malmquist, Fred Linna, Carl Leskinen, Wes Ollila, Bob O'Brien, Cliff Kingstrom, D. Mills, Nim. Rule, Jim Madigan, A. Rein, Ted Linna, ""Peanuts"" Paana, and Manley. -- Mar. 28 - Banquet for Ahmeek team, winners of Calumet Hockey League and Copper country Intermediate championship at Odd Fellows hall. Chairman John A. Josey reported ticket sell-out, music provided by Russel Adams, John Kezele, Charles Rastello. Women of Norinne Rebekah lodge will serve. Trophies on display include Hawks trophy, Copper Country Businessmen's and Mining Gazette Co. cup, Snow Fighting cup won by Rudolph Putansu and Clarence Benson of Mohawk, and P. E. Ruppe cup won by Keweenaw baseball team.Public dance at Ahmeek village fire hall will follow. -- April 5 - Ahmeek and American Soo Creamery in hockey game in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. Players included Mugford, Rapson, Hodgson, and McMaster. -- Ticket for Booster banquet to be held in honor of Ahmeek Hockey Team winners of Hawks trophy, March 28, 1940, I.O.O. F. Hall, Ahmeek.
