Description
Negaunee - Durning the winter the ore hoisted from pits seven and eight of the Jackson Mine were stacked near the DSS&A main line. A wall was built of the heaviers chucks and braces were used, but some snow or ice must have packed into the wall for Wednesday morning the stockpile caved outward on to the South Shore main line and the C&NW Spur.
