Description
An accident occurred upon the Duluth South Shore and Atlantic Railway near Seney station on the 2nd day of September 1887 at 800 o'clock a.m. caused by: Brakeman C. D. Formby falling off train of ore cars while in motion, a short distance west of Seney station. No one saw him fall, he was found by the trackmen. Head injured and one leg run over; brought him to the hosptial at Marquette, where he died the next day at 1:30pm. Remains sent to his relatives at Hamilton Ontario. Casulaties resulting from the above accident 1 employee killed.
