An accident occurred upon the Duluth South Shore and Atlantic Railway at Dollarville station, on the 16th day of September 1887 at 215 o'clcock A.M. caused by: Freight train westbound coming into collision with rear portion of another westbound freight train sent brakeman with lamp back to signal coming train; it was almost stopped but being on a down grade and cars loaded, they pushed engine forward into rear of proceeding train. No person was injured, nor track displaced. Caboose and 5 ore cards were thrown from the track. Casualties resulting from the above accident: None.
