Description
The DSS&A is practically completed. 250 miles of the eastern part of the line has been operating durning 1887 as a local road, and 3 weeks of December, being estimated, it earned $1,500,000 gross and 600,000 net. The line when opended as a through line in the spring of 1888 will have maxiimum grades of 52 feet to the mile.
