Work on Number 3 ore dock is progressing rapidly, and the contractors have reason to feel proud of their splendid success. Of course, the pleasant wewather has a good deal to do with it, and they appear to be taking advantage of it in every move made. A large amount of framing work has been completed and yesterday timber was being hauled out to the extension and the owrk of putting on the pile capping begun, and the huge driver mounted on a scow is making rapid progress, towards completing the balance of the extension of 650 feet fr om the outer end of the old dock.
