Description
August Swenberg, a deal mute of Ishpeming was run over and killed by passenger train number 4, of the DSS&A on Monday night. Swenberg was walking on the railroad track to the New York location, and being unable to hear the warning signal which was sounded by engineer Pat Keyes met with a horrible death. His head, right hand and left leg were cut off and his body so badily mangled that it was almost impossible to identify him. An inquest was held yesterday and a verdict exonerating the railroad and engineer rendered.
