Description
A log hauler had a narrow escape from having his horses and load demolished Thursday afternoon. He was going over the tracks at the Jackson crossing above the bridge and the sleight got stuck on the C&NW track, his horses standing on the South Shore rails. He man had barely got his team unhitched when the westbound Houghton express rushed past.
