Everyone is mourning over last night’s hard frost.
6th. Went over to Mr. Fairbank’s to show (?) about shoemaking.
7th. At home till just at night when I rode out with Father.
8th. We have got a girl now. This afternoon I rode down to the village with Father. Went to Mr. Tom’s. Birmingham is just the same as far as I can see.
Letter from Payley & Gus. She wants me to come out commencement so bad. I do wish I could.
