Description
8x10 black and white photograph from glass negative of mud-spattered 1905 Packard Model N with five males in goggles and work clothes. Inscribed on photo back: 4-cylinder, 28-horsepower, 106-inch wheelbase, 5-person touring car, non-standard "N" body. Note that the top edge of the body following line of the door for a distance aft of the door before curving up to follow the line of the rear seat, whereas this line on the standard "N" body curved up immediately aft of the tonneau door. Note: special spot light mounted on dash at left & resultant missing left side light. Doubtless the occupants are Packard personnel and are were conducting a test run.
