I found Eliza Belding here. She does not look like the same girl since her eyes are sore. 27th To day we had thrashers and it never rains but pours as the saying is. Sophy & Aunt D, Eva & their children came before dinner and Mrs Goodsel and Aunt Maria after. Gus and Lizzie called this evening. 28th Most sick. 29th I felt so bad that thought a ride would make me feel better, may be. Went for Lizzie. She could not go I went up to Mr. Martins and around home. A pleasant time.
