used to know was buried to day. He leaves a wife and two little children in the cold world. 23rd Busy. Molly (?) called to day. We spoke of getting up a reading class. Think ‘twould be pleasant. 24th Thanksgiving. Who that looked up on the gorgeous sun light as it slowly starts from the gorgeous portals of the eastern horizon and sent its glad song over hill and vail [sic] could find place for ought but praise and thanksgiving in their heart to that glorious giver of all blessings.
