Elipses are used to indicate larger portions of the text found to be illegible.Dec 2nd To night I went up to singing school. There were a great many there and yet there was not any one. Snow.
Dec 3rd Will came over to night. Mother has been reading aloud. Very cold.
Dec 4th Will Mary and I went to Presbyterian church this morning and to Methodist this afternoon and evening.
Dec 5th To day I commenced with Mr. Hill. I went at nine and stayed an hour and a half. I am very much interested. I am so provoked to think Mary will chase around with those (?)
Went to Lyceum.
