Mack and I have had a good time talking politics.
31st Bitter cold, sixteen below zero. This afternoon I am home. I have had such a good visit with Gus. But ‘tis over now.
I found Sophy. (?) Mary T--- and a Mrs. Smith here visiting.
It is new year’s eve. Thankful am I that I am not where I was one year ago.
Gus and I have been making some high prophesies for the future.
