Got Plutarch’s Lives from the library which mother and I have commenced. 22nd Went to church this morning and to the Methodist this evening. Have been studying, reading. 23 Recited. Mr. Hill has to be away some this week. This afternoon I took a horse back ride: it was so pleasant and went down to Nellie’s school, when I came home I found Lucy and Mary Patrick here. We all went to Lyceum. Dull & (?). This is the last time I will have anything to do with the report for literary exercises.
