in surprising them. Broke up at one. There were about thirty there. 4th Father is better. Took a short horseback ride. Lucy called. Molly too. The next thing is the Literary Monday. I do hope Father is not going to be sick. Mr. (?) was buried yesterday. Feb 5th Father is better but yet very weak. I went to church this morning. It is raining. Have been copying my essay and fussing with papers for that budget box. 6th To night Nellie (?) and Frank came to go to the Literary. It went off very well only the budget box was small. A great many there. Poor Mollie much
