Inscribed on photo back: (both cars) Packard eight, sixteenth series, model 1601, 8-cylinder, 120-horsepower, 127-inch wheelbase, 5-person convertible victoria, by Darrin (Darrin of Paris, built in old Crown Coach Co. Facility), note (car in front), no fender mounted parking lights, front license plate carried on right (1938 California license plate #5S9141), Darrin plate carried below & to right of left headlamp next to radiator grille, standard hub caps, running board, (car behind) no fender mounted parking lights, front license plate carried on right (1938 California license plate #3182), presumably Darrin plate carried below & to right of left headlamp next to radiator grille, standard hub caps, running board.
