Photo caption on back from Packard News Bureau: Packard's new entry in luxury field, this completely restyled Packard Patrician is the newest entry in the luxury car field for 1955, in addition to new exterior styling, the Packard Patrician features torsion level ride, a dramatic new suspension system which eliminates customary coil and leaf springs, but instead uses long torsion bars, interconnecting the front and rear wheels, the Packard Patrician is powered by a new 260-horsepower V-8 engine, both the new Packard and Clipper lines will have their public announcement in dealer showrooms the week of January 17.
