Father has just come from the village and brought part of my things, the last. I have not studied any this week on account of Abbie’s being here but will try to tonight.
May 14. Uncle Franks’s people have been down and Abbie went home with them. I have been studying.
May 15. This afternoon I went up to Gus, then down to the schoolhouse and found her there. Came home. Received a letter from Miss Clark.
