Elija is as funny as ever. June 11. Rain, rain, will it never stop. I thought someone from the village would be out to day. But as usual, no. June 12. Down to church to day, to sabbath school this afternoon. There were only a few there. I fear we shall not make it prosper well. Mother does not feel at all well. June 14. Up to Gus’s this afternoon.
