Unexpectedly we there met Eliza, Sarah Mooney and the Misses _____ and Emily Fish. I don’t know when I enjoyed myself so, so much better than expected. Poor ______ is sick, I am so sorry for him. He seems so lonely.
June 16. Warm, very.
At home alone this afternoon. Nothing has happened and I have thought almost nothing. Snatched a few moments time to read Shakespeare.
