From the number of conveyances that have passed, I should think everyone was going to the hall. Tis a cool evening and has been a beautiful day. I should like to be in Pontiac to the concert to night.
This morning an engine went out trimmed with flowers and an arch of evergreens in which was the date 1776.
Gus went down to night and I went most home with her. She is determined I shall go to the caravan(?) tomorrow but I don’t care a fig to go.
Oh dear, dear. We saw Hallin(?) Babcock go by
