I saw Elija Whitney and _______. Tis so pleasant now to ride in the cool of the evening. I enjoy it much.
August 5. Now while the carpenters are here I have so much to do that I can’t go away only just at night.
Tonight Mother and I went up to Gus. I must write yet some if I can.
