Description
G.A.R. and Women's Relief Corps at dedication of Civil War monument, 1905. Flags and bunting on stores suggest the 4th of July. Seventh from left in the back row is Mr. "Peg Leg" Rice. The couple in center front are MM Asher (Jeanette) Miller, who built the Caskey Funeral Home as a residence and the G.A.R meetings were held on the 3rd floor. Women's relief corp left to right Mrs. Jeanette Miller, Mrs. Beeman, Florence Miller, unknown, Louisa Soules, Mrs. Norton, unknown, Mrs. Pierce. Seated "Tete" McCloy, unknown, Mrs. Pierce, unknown, Mrs. Alfred Cobb, Mrs. John Russman, Mrs. Bowdish.
