September 6. Went down to the village to go to Pontiac on the cars but could not. Staid al night with Mary Ann. Went in the evening to a colored lecture.
September 7. Went up this morning.
September 8. Went up to the Union(?) school and to Mrs. Goodsels(?). Up to the courthouse to a Republican lecture tonight.
September 9. Came home this afternoon. Mary with me. Found a letter from Owosso and shall probably go there.
