Description
William Schuldt (1877-1968) stands on the paved road in front of his shop in Utica, Michigan. An automobile, a finished 3-row carriage, and a wheeled chassis of an unfinished wagon are all parked along the side of the road. An unidentified boy watches. The business next door is the Utica Tavern. Electrical or telephone wires reach down to his business from a utility pole.
