December 8, 9, 10. The same round of duties. Received letters from home and Em Tripp.
To night I went to Lyceum. Went poking up there alone but I did not care. I am not going to stay at home here always and know nothing of what is going on, without even a proper nod.
December 11. At home all day.
December 12. At church once and busy writing. O how I do want to be home Christmas. Mr. Post’s people have
