Illegible sections of the original text are noted as follows: ______. A parenthetical question mark (?) follows words in the original text that were not completely legible but were still transcribed. When I arrived, found Wesly and his bride there. We have _____ well. Letter from home. February 3. At home all day with the expectation of going up town _____. February 4. Miss Hubble visited here. Went to Lyceum. They had a witty and good debate. February 5. Thought I should go Monday but am again disappointed. Went up town and called on business at Mr. _______ and Mr. _________. This evening went to a lecture before the young men’s Lyceum at the Methodist Church. Went with George and the bride and sat with Julia Parker.
