Description
Stepping off the Rapid Railway Shoreline Interurban on Jefferson Avenue, this pleasant driveway to Blossom Heath greeted the visitor. This postcard view from the 1920s showed the catalpa trees lining the drive to the front door and the beautiful grouns surrounding the property. Frog legs and wild game were often on the menu. During Prohibition Blossom Heath was a favorite spot for illegal gambling and spirits.
