Description
This page is incorrectly labeled as number 190 - the correct page number is 189. The following is taken from a transcription of Martha Baldwin’s diary (1858-1859). Illegible sections of the original text are noted as follows: ______. A parenthetical question mark (?) follows words in the original text that were not completely legible but were still transcribed. March 30. ________ Post came up to see Eva to day. So of course we have had a breeze. She says James is coming home today to stay four or five weeks. Hoyt too is coming soon. I wonder if I shall see them. One thing I know and that is they won’t see me in Birmingham.
