Description
B/W negative of the Portage Branch of First Federal Savings and Loan Association located at 7801 South Westnedge Avenue in the Township of Portage, Michigan. The Portage District Library will eventually be built (1976) on the open land directly behind this building. This image, which is looking southeast, was taken on April 28th, 1961. As of 2005, this structure has been demolished and replaced with a formal garden.
