Dec 1st Saturday, so hard at work. Now it is nine I have compositions and lessons to get. We thought to get settled upstairs but could not get our stove up. Patience, I am sleepy and do want to go to bed. Dec 2nd Went to church this morning early. Have been reading “Gold Foil.” Dec 4 Tuesday This evening Vanderhoff was to lecture. I did not want to go with the girls and their brothers or the girls and their beaux so went to go with Nellie H but she had a beaux so went to with Mollie D-----. It was so good His subject—poetry and poets
